She did her under graduation (MBBS), post-graduation (MD) as well as senior residency from Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi which is one of the premier institute in the country. She was the best outgoing PG for which she was awarded gold medal during her MD, as well as she received many gold medals for her academic excellence during MBBS. She then went on to pursue neonatology training from University of Calgary (Alberta Children’s Hospital & Foothills Medical Center), Canada, which is one of the finest neonatal intensive care units in the world. She is affiliated to the Royal College of Canada as a sub specialist in the field of neonatology through the SEAP (subspecialty affiliate program). Dr Deepika has been in practice for the last 10 years, with special interest in care of preterm babies. She has many national & international publications to her credit. She has presented her research work at reputed national as well as international forums, for which she won many accolades.
